About Us

The Hoover/Meredith bands are comprised of 6-12th grade students located in the combined Hoover High School & Meredith Middle School building.

We are a growing and thriving band program that musically educates nearly 400 students in instrumental music.

Combined Director Skills

  • Instrumental Music Education

  • Performance

  • Music Theory

  • Music Software

Our directors are state licensed K-8/6-12 music educators that hold Bachelor's, Masters', and Ph.D.'s in instrumental music education. They have over 50 years of combined teaching experience in instrumental music education and have taught in various school districts ranging from small rural to large urban.

Elegance is not the abundance of simplicity. It is the absence of complexity.

"In motivating people, you've got to engage their minds and their hearts. I motivate people, I hope, by example - and perhaps by excitement, by having productive ideas to make others feel involved."

client 2 John Doe Client

"Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing."

client 3 John Doe Client

"Perfection is Achieved Not When There Is Nothing More to Add, But When There Is Nothing Left to Take Away"
